While only rumors among players, Team Infused‘s core four roster since the Dreamhack London Championship in 2015 could be parting ways due to relatively poor performance in recent tournaments.

The European team of Mark “MarkyB” Bryceland, Adam “Peatie” Peate, David “Urban” Marsh, and Trei “Zer0” Morris started off the Black Ops III season strong, winning the EU Call of Duty World League Stage 1 Regular Season Title, but finished just top-four in the playoffs. They finished around the same placing for the ESL Stage 2 Challenge Division, and placedtop-six at the MLG Anaheim Open.

Their last two contests, though, brought a major shock to the team’s system, as Infused finished outside the top-eight at MLG Orlando, and were booted out of the top-12 at the CoD World League Championship by OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan.

Call of Duty professionals are often dropped or decide change teams after dissappointing placings in big events, as we’ve seen earlier this month with Adam “KiLLa” Sloss being dropped from Renegades. However, if the long-standing Infused roster fractures after a year together, it would give the European organization a total fresh start in Call of Duty competative.

We have reached out to Team Infused for a comment on this situation, and will update the story as it develops.

Do you believe this is the end for Infused’s long standing roster?
