Enigma6 Group has added former Panda Global player, Bobby “Phenomenon” Kenny, as the official fifth player on their Gears of War roster, replacing Chris “Crushmo” Lauzon who went to Echo Fox, the organization announced earlier today.
Following a disappointing top-12 finish at the start of the Gears of War Pro Circuit at MLG Columbus, E6 has entered each LAN tournament experimenting with different players, while showing noticeable improvement, placing top-six at both the Gfinity London Open and Gfinity Mexico City Open, respectively.
Dylan “Eternity” Merrill, a player for Enigma6 Group, is excited about what Phenomenon brings to the team.
“Phenomenon is the aggressive front spawn player that everyone needs on a team and we have been lacking all season,” Eternity said. “We have some great slayers on our team in wilde and Hudson, but we have been lacking in the front spawn department during our initials. Bobby enjoys those hectic spots and brings something to the team we have been missing. Not only is he the right piece to the puzzle gameplay wise, he has been nothing but a good teammate so far and we actually get to practice with both quantity and quality, something that we are not used to this season unfortunately. It has been very refreshing to get on and actually make it worth our time.”
E6 will meet with the world’s best teams at the Gears of War Atlantic City Open, which will take place from March 31 to April 2, as over 48 teams get set to battle it out at the Caesars Atlantic City.
