Jonathan “Renegade JW” Willette will replace Gilbert “MuNoZ” Muñoz for 3sUp Enterprises ahead of HCS Las Vegas, the team announced via Facebook.

After qualifying for the Halo Minor League, 3sUp has another opportunity to head into a structured Halo league if they walk out of HCS Las Vegas as one of the top-two teams in the Open Circuit Finals. From there, they would move on to the relegation tournament against Enigma6 and Team Allegiance, where a placement in the top-two would give them a spot in the next HCS Pro League.

Renegade JW played for LOL, now known as Str8 Rippin, in weeks two and three of the HCS Fall Season, and was regarded as a player deserving of a full Pro League spot. For a team that is now going to the HCS Fall Season Finals, but struggled early in the season, Renegade JW helped LOL defeat Evil Geniuses, as well as Team Liquid, in a tight game five series in the same week.

Any team wishing for MuNoZ’s services will have to contact 3sUp in order to pick him up as a free agent.

Is Renegade JW enough to push 3sUp into the relegation tournament?
