Wizards of the Coast included a total of 45 anime art cards within the Jumpstart 2022 set, showcasing a number of Magic: The Gathering cards with alternative art that are worth money on the secondary singles market.
Packed with popular MTG tribal themes throughout history, the Jumpstart 2022 (J22) set contained 51 new cards, reprints, 46 themes, and 121 possible pack contents. In addition to the 45 anime art cards, there were another 25 that also showcased new art. Of the 45 Jumpstart anime art cards, several were worth around $20 for the global release of Jumpstart 2022, ranking higher than the regular reprints found in the set.
Anime art Jumpstart 2022 cards still worth money
Over time, the J22 anime art cards dropped slightly. Heading into the Lost Caverns of Ixalan release, there were still eight cards priced from $7 and $17. The regular versions within the Jumpstart set also dropped, with cards like Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm (valued at around $47) and Rhystic Study (priced at around $35) maintaining their value at over $20.

The Jumpstart 2022 set was unique to Magic, especially with the inclusion of alternative-art anime cards. At the time of writing, Jumpstart sets are no longer released with Standard-legal sets but are still offered through other MTG sets like Universes Beyond or Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth.
All J22 values are subject to change over time and will get updated upon significant price changes. The Jumpstart 2022 set officially launched on Dec. 2.
