How to get the Garlond GL-II motorcycle mount in Final Fantasy XIV
Because the Garlond GL-II mount is linked to Island Sanctuaries, it’s also in this area that players will be able to unlock it. They won’t see the item right away, though, as it will be unveiled only by reaching a specific point in Island Sanctuary progression.

Reaching Rank 10 won’t be enough, however. To unlock it, players must spend 24,000 Seafarer’s Cowries. This currency can also be used to buy other collectibles exclusive to the feature, such as other mounts, minions, and hairstyles.

What is the Garlond GL-II motorcycle mount?
The Garlond GL-II, motorcycle mount in FFXIV. This a one-seater, terrestrial prototype is a magitek vehicle developed by Garlond Ironworks. It was meant to be a new mode of transportation with a ceruleum engine that allows riders to effortlessly traverse all kinds of terrain.
Although not one of the best mounts in Final Fantasy XIV, the motorcycle mount is certainly one of the coolest. The Garlond GL-II features a powerful twin-bank ceruleum engine and a rugged chassis designed for traversing rough terrain.
As mentioned above, the mount can be obtained by reaching Rank 10 in Island Sanctuary and purchasing it for 24,000 Seafarer’s Cowries. Variations of this mount include the Garlond GL-IIT, a three-wheeled tractor, and the Garlond GL-IS, a two-person mount with a sidecar.
