Not exactly a unique game feature.

Marvel Snap received a new social feature called Alliances on July 31. The name alone should give you an idea of what Alliances are about, but if you’re still confused, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s how Alliances work in Marvel Snap.

What are Marvel Snap Alliances?

Marvel Snap Alliances are, essentially, player guilds. An Alliance can comprise up to 30 players who communicate, work together, and compete against other Alliances. You can create or join an existing Alliance. When joining or creating an Alliance, players can set minimum Collection and Rank requirements for players who want to join. Joining players can also apply to join an Alliance and need to wait for manual approval from the Alliance leader or one of the officers.

As you can see, while it’s a cool feature, it’s nothing we haven’t seen in other mobile games. Now, the question is, should you join (or create) an Alliance?

Should you join or create an Alliance in Marvel Snap?

Yes, you absolutely should join or create an Alliance in Marvel Snap. Even if you’re playing the game casually and don’t much care about interacting and competing with others, there’s one main reason why you should join: the Bounty Board.

The Bounty Board is just a fancy name for daily and weekly quests. There are daily and weekly bounties for the player and for the entire Alliance. Naturally, when you finish enough bounties, you can win stuff for yourself and members of the Alliance. The rewards include Avatars, Crates, Credits, and Variants. As many have pointed out, the current Alliance Bounty rewards seem underwhelming, but this can always change in the future. At the end of the day, these are still worth getting, and some Bounties even encourage you to try out different cards and strategies.
