Marvel Rivals is making waves in the closed alpha phase, but the fun doesn’t stop there as you can secure your spot in the closed beta—and we’ll tell you how to do so.
No official release date has been shared for Marvel Rivals but it’s expected to be a little while off considering the closed alpha test just concluded in May 2024, and the confirmation of a closed beta test means more time in development is needed before the game is ready for its full release.
Numbers were limited for the closed alpha, with just 30,000 lucky players able to get access initially. If you were fortunate enough to get into the game, you were able to make sure you have a spot in the closed beta by reaching a certain requirement.
Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming Marvel Rivals closed beta test.

Marvel Rivals’ closed beta test is scheduled to begin in July 2024, according to NetEase Games. It will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
So far, the only confirmed way of gaining access was to reach level 10 during the closed alpha test. Additional methods for signing up should be announced closer to the beta’s release, but it can’t hurt to visit the Marvel Rivals’ website or join the game’s official Discord server to keep up with the news.
As far as the other method is concerned, a service notice during the closed alpha test revealed players could gain access to the future closed beta test by reaching level 10 on their account—which was easy enough to do during the alpha test.
Access to the closed beta test was only one of the major rewards you could earn in the Marvel Rivals closed alpha test. Reaching account level six enabled you to claim an additional code to distribute to a friend—but these were limited on a daily basis. Players could also earn the Moonlit Witch skin for Scarlet Witch, a permanent reward that will be available to you once the full game releases, as well as a Test Alpha nameplate to show off your commitment.
The closed beta test will likely offer more rewards, on top of the first chance to play newly announced heroes such as Venom and Adam Warlock, along with a new map.
