Whether you’re a cornerback looking to track down a ball carrier or a running back getting ready to explode for a big gain, speed is one of the most important tools of any Madden 25 player—and there are a select group that are the fastest of them all.

On offense, speed will make the difference between creating space from a defender and breaking away for a touchdown, or getting tackled for a loss. On the defensive end, however, players need speed to keep up with approaching opponentst to they prevent them from making an easy catch or run.

Among the hundreds of players in the game, here are the fastest players in Madden 25.

EA Sports is currently revealing the full game roster in the days leading up to the official release of Madden 25, but currently, there is only one player with a 99 speed rating in the game. There are also 20 players among the revealed players that have a 95 speed or above, making up an elite class of fast-movers on the gridiron.

With a healthy mix of superstar players and up and coming names, here are the fastest players in Madden 25.

Quez Watkins, WRPittsburgh Steelers96

Among the 10 fastest players in Madden 25, only four have an overall rating over 80: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, D.K. Metcalf, and De’Von Achane. Wildly enough, three of those players all play for the Miami Dolphins‘ offensive core, making them one of the fastest teams in the league.

The lowest rated speedster, however, lies with the Jets’ Tyler Harrell, who is currently a 64 overall. If you’re looking for the game’s cover player, Christian McCaffrey, he currently has an impressive 91 speed on top of his 99 overall rating. He is the best halfback in the NFL, and is understandably the best halfback you can use in Madden too.
