Splyce has completed its roster for the upcoming season of the EU LCS with the addition of support Raymond “kaSing” Tsang. The move is pending Riot’s approval, according to Splyce.
ESPN originally reported that a move was potentially being worked on between Splyce and kaSing on Nov. 23, but that changed a week later due to reported interest from H2K Gaming.
“The signing of kaSing was a no brainer,” said Grant “Grievance” Roussau, Splyce’s League of Legends manager. “He brings vast amounts of experience and skill from both the LCS and the international level with Worlds experience, while still demonstrating the potential for more growth. His class will not only fit in well with the team, but also bring out the best in Kobbe as a duo, as they match each other in personality and style. I am glad he has the opportunity to show his capability once again in the LCS with Splyce.”
It’s been over a year since European fans last saw kaSing in the EU LCS. He joined Team Vitality for the 2016 Spring Split and then left the team by the end of the year. KaSing then joined Red Bulls EU Challenger Team in April, hopeful to be promoted into the EU LCS.
Fans hope that kaSing’s experience in the EU LCS and the international stage can help Splyce become not only EU LCS title contenders, but Worlds contenders as well.
