Every Tuesday, 20 out of the 170 total League champions are selected to become free-to-play in unranked playlists. Here are this week’s free champions
League of Legends free champion rotation
It’s another week in League, and you can play 20 new champions for free. This week’s champion rotation list includes a monkey, a squid, and a cheeky rat—so there’s something for everyone. The champions crushing it on the Rift, who you can try for free this week, are Vel’Koz, Ahri, and Ziggs.

If you’re new to League and unsure where to start, try Ziggs or Vi. They’re both relatively simple champions. Riot will update the free-play rotation again on March 25, adding 20 more characters. Any debuting League champions are added three weeks after release.
