Mid laner Luka “PerkZ” Perkovic is the only member of the original G2 roster returning in the new season. He is joined by former Splyce top laner Martin “Wunder” Hansen, former H2K Gaming jungler Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, and the bottom lane duo of ROCCAT Petter “Hjarnan” Freyschuss and Kum “Wadid” Bae-in to complete G2’s 2018 roster.

This will be the first new lineup that G2 has had in over a year.

Former jungler Kim “Trick” Gang-yun joined LCK team bbq Olivers in the offseason while bot lane duo Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen and Alfonso “mithy” Aguirre Rodriguez moved over to TSM.

G2’s former top laner Ki “Expect” Dae-han is the only player that has not found a new team as of yet.

Dominating the EU LCS over the past two years, G2 won four successive EU LCS titles and represented the region at two successive World Championships. With this new roster, G2 will be hoping to retain its EU LCS crown.

The 2018 EU LCS Spring Split is set to begin Jan. 19.
