Following the 2020 League of Legends World Championship and the end of the competitive year, several North American teams already began rebuilding their rosters in preparation of the 2021 LCS Spring Split.
Here are all of the LCS roster moves that have been confirmed ahead of the 2021 season.
100 Thieves
Nov. 10 — 100 Thieves and ADC Cody Sun mutually decide to part ways for the 2021 LCS season.
Nov. 16 — 100 Thieves acquired Golden Guardians jungler Can “Closer” Çelik and ADC Ian Victor “FBI” Huang
Nov. 19 — 100 Thieves welcomed mid laner Damonte and support Huhi from Golden Guardians.
Nov. 19 — Juan Arturo “Contractz” Garcia, Tommy “Ryoma” Le, and Philippe “Poome” Lavoie-Giguere departed from the team.
Nov. 20 — 100 Thieves signed Aleš “Freeze” Kněžínek as the team’s assistant coach.
Nov. 27 — 100 Thieves demoted Tommy “Ryoma” Le and Philippe “Poome” Lavoie-Giguere to academy.
Dec. 1 — Greyson Gregory “Goldenglue” Gilmer joined 100 Thieves as the team’s head coach.
Dec. 1 — 100 Thieves signed former TSM strategic coach Ham “Lustboy” Jang-sik as the team’s role coach.
CLG
Aug. 10 — After ending the 2020 LCS Summer Split in ninth place, CLG parted ways with head coach Kim “SSONG” Sang-soo and division coach Weldon Green.
Nov. 17 — Top laner Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min left CLG.
Nov. 17 — CLG acquired top laner Finn “Finn” Wiestål from Rogue and jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen from Team Liquid.
Nov. 18 — CLG re-signed head coach Galen “Galen” Holgate for the next season.
Nov. 20 — CLG parted ways with ADC Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes.
Nov. 20 — Jason “WildTurtle” Tran joined the team.
Nov. 23 — CLG released junglers Raymond “Wiggily” Griffin and Kristopher “Fragas” Myha.
Cloud9
Sept. 14 — Cloud9 said goodbye to head coach Reapered, who had originally joined the team in May 2016.
Oct. 19 — Top laner Licorice announced he would not be playing under Cloud9 in 2021. The same day, Cloud9 announced it would be parting ways with assistant coach Jung “RapidStar” Min-sung.
Oct. 30 — Riot Games’ Global Contract Database updated to list former Cloud9 Academy player Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami as the LCS team’s starting top laner.
Nov. 2 — Cloud9 officially promoted Reignover to the role of head coach.
Nov. 16 — Cloud9 bid a fond farewell to mid laner Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer ahead of the 2021 LCS season.
Nov. 20 — Former G2 ADC Perkz signed with Cloud9 as the team’s new mid laner.
Dec. 4 — C9 welcomed strategic coach Alfonso “Mithy” Aguirre Rodríguez and position and strategic coaches Marius “Veigar v2” Aune and Maxwell “Max” Waldo to the team.
Dignitas
Oct. 22 — Dignitas confirmed Dardoch will return as the team’s starting jungler for the 2021 season.
Oct. 28 — Dignitas said goodbye to head coach Thomas “Thinkcard” Slotkin.
Nov. 18 — ADC Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen agreed to part ways with Dignitas.
Nov. 24 — Dignitas signed division coach Jimmy.
Nov. 25 — Dignitas signed former 100 Thieves academy mid laner Max “Soligo” Soong and Cloud9 academy top laner Aaron “FakeGod” Lee ahead of the 2021 LCS season.
Dec. 7 — Dignitas promoted ADC Toàn “Neo” Trần to the team’s main roster.
Evil Geniuses
Oct. 20 — Evil Geniuses parted ways with head coach Heo “Irean” Yeong-cheol.
Nov. 4 —Evil Geniuses acquired former MAD Lions head coach Peter Dun.
Nov. 14 — Evil Geniuses released top laner Kumo, mid laner GoldenGlue, and ADC Bang.
Nov. 17 — Tristan “Zeyzal” Stidam became a free agent.
Nov. 21 — Evil Geniuses acquired former FlyQuest support IgNar.
Dec. 1 — Matthew “Deftly” Chen was promoted to the team’s main roster ahead of the 2021 LCS season.
Dec. 2 — Evil Geniuses welcomed top laner Impact from Team Liquid.
FlyQuest
Nov. 16 — FlyQuest released mid laner Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage and assistant coach Anand “Curry” Agarwal.
Nov. 18 — Substitute ADC Brandon “Mash” Phan left FlyQuest.
Nov. 19 — Head coach David “Cop” Roberson became a free agent.
Nov. 20 — Former Rainbow7 jungler Brandon Joel “Josedeodo” Villegas joined FlyQuest.
Nov. 21 — FlyQuest parted ways with support Ignar.
Nov. 23 — FlyQuest signed C9’s Eric “Licorice” Ritchie, Cristian “Palafox” Palafox, and David “Diamond” Bérubé ahead of the 2021 LCS season.
Nov. 24 —FlyQuest said goodbye to top laner Colin “Solo” Earnest and substitute jungler Xin “nxi” Dinh.
Dec. 4 — Lamine-Lounis “Paul” “Kanani” Khouani joined FlyQuest as the team’s new head coach.
Dec. 4 — FlyQuest signed Alexey “Sharkz” Tarand as an assistant coach.
Golden Guardians
Nov. 15 — Top laner Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell entered free agency.
Nov. 16 — Golden Guardians released Tanner “Damonte” Damonte and Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun.

Nov. 6 — Goh “Jensen” Quian Sheng and André “Guilhoto” Pereira Guilhoto joined Immortals as head coaches.
Nov. 16 — Immortals allowed Kieran “Allorim” Logue, Jake Kevin “Xmithie” Puchero, and Nickolas “Hakuho” Surgent to explore free agency.
Nov. 17 — Immortals welcomed top laner Mohamed “Revenge” Kaddoura to its LCS roster.
Nov. 20 — Immortals signed jungler Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir from Astralis.
Nov. 23 — Former Astralis support Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw and former Legacy Esports ADC Quin “Raes” Korebrits joined Immortals.
Team Liquid
Oct. 23 — Team Liquid parted ways with assistant coach Croissant.
Nov. 12 — The organization released head coach Jang “Cain” Nu-ri.
Nov. 17 — Liquid parted ways with jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen.
Nov. 18 — Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong became a free agent.
Nov. 20 — Liquid signed Barney “Alphari” Morris and Lucas “Santorin” Tao Kilmer.

TSM
Oct. 24 — Bjergsen retired from professional play and announced his move to the role of head coach for TSM.
Nov. 19 — TSM parts ways with Turkish top laner Broken Blade and support Erik “Treatz” Wessén.
Nov. 21 — TSM officially welcomes mid laner PowerOfEvil to the LCS roster.
Nov. 24 — TSM picked up assistant coach Anand “Curry” Agarwal and strategic coach and head scout Jack “Kayys” Kayser to assist head coach Bjergsen.
Nov. 25 — Peter “Doublelift” Peng followed suit with Bjergsen and retired from pro play.
Nov. 26 — TSM signed former Suning support Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh for a record-breaking $6 million.
Nov. 27 — TSM, after signing SwordArt, parted ways with Vincent “Biofrost” Wang.
Nov. 30 — Top laner Huni joined TSM.
Dec. 6 — TSM welcomed Lost to the starting roster as its newest ADC.
