Both Sony and Microsoft thrive on exclusive titles that serve as the pillars of a quality gaming platform. Some of these games will remain exclusive to the platform, but when they meet success, they will often end up releasing on additional platforms years after their release.

Microsoft completed the acquisition of Bethesda in 2021. While the news rejoiced Xbox Game Pass subscribers, it also meant a future filled with uncertainties for PlayStation users. Hi-Fi Rush was released over a year ago, and fans are curious whether it will come to PS5 in the future.

Yes, Hi-Fi Rush will be coming to PS5, according to dataminers on Feb. 1. The Verge reported that t-shirts also hinted at the game’s release on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

This adds to rumors that surfaced in January on Hi-Fi Rush and other releases of games available on Xbox to PlayStation, such as Sea of Thieves.

A time window for the rhythm game’s release on PlayStation 5 is still shrouded in mystery, but there’s little doubt it’s coming.

Hi-Fi Rush released on Jan. 25, 2023. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam and has 87 on Metacritic. Its success might have made its case for a release on PlayStation 5.

At the time of writing, Hi-Fi Rush is only available on PC and Xbox. The developer will likely provide more information on the matter in the next few months.
