One of the most anticipated changes in the update—the addition of The Goat as a companion for players to enjoy some couch co-op together—is just the beginning as the content-focused update adds a lot more than that.

Cult of the Lamb patch notes – update 1.4.3

There are a whopping 21 new traits in the free update, and their abilities are spread across the board.

For example, there’s Poet (“Never work and have no interactions; they will sit near the edge of the base, writing poetry all day”), Jealous Spouse (“Followers with this trait will keep fighting other spouses until they kill them”), and Snorer (” Followers with the Snorer trait wake up followers who are sleeping nearby by snoring loudly at night”).

Of all the new traits, some are funny or silly, some are useful such as Happily Married (“Followers with this trait will be 20 percent more productive”), some are dangerous like Cursed (“Followers with the Insomniac trait sleep during the day and work at night”), and some make a follower borderline useless, like Insomniac (“Followers with the Insomniac trait sleep during the day and work at night”).

Two new buildings are also in the update, including the Nursery, where you can send baby followers to be looked after in a group, and the Knucklebones Table, where you can play the fun board game against a friend or followers.

There are also three new fleeces, including the Goat Fleece, which allows solo players to play as the Goat, and a Transmog system for all existing fleeces, so you can use one fleece’s ability while making it appear like another.

Finally, lore-related Bishop quests, new encounters in all four dungeons, 12 normal new relics, eight corrupted relics, five co-op relics, nine new tarot cards, nine new corrupted tarot cards, and five co-op tarot cards are included in the update.

The Pilgrim Pack DLC is also a part of this patch, introducing five new follower forms (Anteater, Camel, Echidna, Panda, and Skunk), along with new decorations, quests, a comic, and another new fleece.
