While each patch is filled with new characters to gear up, players who complete the content will naturally start wondering what the future—which right now is Honkai version 1.1—holds for them and the Simulated Universe.
HoYoverse revealed the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 Galactic Roaming update via a Special Program on YouTube and Twitch on May 26. It delivered what fans expected, although the lack of new Trailblaze missions left us hoping for more.
When does Honkai: Star Rail version 1.1 release?
Players can already pre-download the update so they can explore it as soon as it drops on June 7. Maintenance will hit live servers on June 6, at 5pm CT, the developer revealed on June 5. It will last approximately five hours, and the developer will give Stellar Jade as compensation for downtime with one specific amount per hour of maintenance.
It means you should receive more Stellar Jade through their mail if the maintenance lasts longer than expected, similar to Genshin Impact’s updates with Primogem compensation. It’s certainly one of HoYoverse’s most generous traditions.

If Honkai servers get back up after the expected downtime, players will be able to start playing Version 1.1 on June 6, at 10pm CT.

What’s coming in Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1?
Honkai Version 1.1 will add Silver Wolf as the next five-star character to be featured in Character Warps, and Luocha in its Second Phase. Yukong will also release at the same time but as a four-star character instead.
In addition, the update will feature events to get freebies, such as precious Special Rail Passes, upon logging in, as well as Stellar Jade rewards through activities.
