Seele is a powerful five-star Quantum character in Honkai: Star Rail who is capable of delivering many swift and powerful attacks in a row.
Since Seele is part of The Hunt, her single-target damage is the strongest part of her skillset, making her a great DPS character. She’s a fairly easy character to build, but Seele will function best when you fully understand all parts of her skillset, know what you need to level her up, and what the best build for her looks like.
Seele’s skills in Honkai: Star Rail
Seele has five skills that are built around bolstering her role as a Quantum Main DPS.
- “Thwack” basic attack: Deals Quantum damage equal to 50 to 110 percent of Seele’s attack against a single enemy.
- “Sheathed Blade” skill: Raises Seele’s speed by 25 percent for two turns and deals Quantum DMG equal to 110 to 242 percent of Seele’s attack against a targeted opponent.
- “Butterfly Flurry” Ultimate: Seele enters the buffed state and deals Quantum damage equal to 255 to 459 percent of her attack against a single targeted foe.
- “Resurgence” talent: Seele’s buffed state is activated after defeating an enemy with her basic attack, skill, or ultimate, and she receives an extra turn. While the buffed state is active, the damage dealt by Seele’s attacks is raised by 40 percent for one turn. Any opponents defeated during Seele’s extra turn provided by Resurgence will not activate another occurrence of Resurgence.
- “Phantom Illusion” technique: Upon using her technique, Seele enters Stealth mode and turns invisible for 20 seconds. As long as Stealth is active, Seele will not be detected by enemies. If Seele enters battle while in Stealth mode, she begins already in the buffed state.

The best Light Cones for Seele are ones focused on enhancing her DPS abilities through raising critical damage, attack, and critical rate.
Overall, Seele’s signature Light Cone In The Night is the strongest option for her, but there are many other powerful Light Cones for her too if you can’t afford to pull for this option like Cruising in the Stellar Sea and Swordplay.
