Exploration is straightforward in Honkai: Star Rail since the game isn’t set in an open world. However, players might still miss hidden elements like Warp Trotters because some are easier to find than others.
Warp Trotters are cute creatures that will hide and enter a “scared” state when you engage in a fight against them. They won’t be defenseless, however, as more enemies from the Antimatter Legion will appear to fighting at their side.
Warp Trotters are enemies you’ll want to target and hunt down because they offer great rewards when defeated, including precious Stellar Jade. You’ll have to engage in fights quickly, though, because they’ll escape instead of Ambushing you if you don’t. Then you’ll have to leave the area and Teleport near them again so they reappear in the world.

- Physical, Ice
Outlying Snow Plains
When you engage in a fight against the Trotter, you’ll encounter three other enemies fighting alongside him. Here are the enemies’ weaknesses:

Great Mine
The Trotter in the Great Mine is easy to find and engage. He’ll fight alongside three allies, once again, with the following weaknesses:
- Physical, Quantum, Imaginary
- Lightning, Wind, Imaginary
- Fire, Ice, Imaginary
Rivet Town
This is beginning to be a bit more challenging, starting in Rivet Town. You’d be better off with at least one Fire or Wind character, as well as a Physical one to defeat the Trotter before it flees away.
Robot Settlement
This Warp Trotter is level 43. It will be helped by allies, once again. Here are the Weaknesses of his allies so you can adjust your team:
- Physical, Quantum, Imaginary
- Lightning, Wind (five enemies)
- Physical, Lightning (two)
Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone
The Warp Trotter that can be found in the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone is level 36, so you’ll have to be prepared to take it down fast before it escapes. Here are the weaknesses of its allies and itself:
- Lightning, Wind, Imaginary
- Physical, Quantum, Imaginary
- Physical, Lightning
- Lightning, Wind, Imaginary
Corridor of Fading Echoes
Everwinter Hill
Be careful, as allies of the Trotter will obtain Attack Boosts at some point, so you might want to deal some AoE damage to eliminate them while being careful that the Trotter doesn’t get the opportunity to escape. Here are the weaknesses of the level 43 enemies for the Warp Trotter hidden in the corridor of Everwinter Hill:
- Fire, Quantum (four enemies)
- Fire, Wind

Cloudford: How to reach the Warp Trotter
The Warp Trotter can be found on the lower floor, but you’ll have to walk from the upper floor to reach it because the other entry will be blocked.
To do so, you can Teleport to the Space Anchor named Cargo Lane, on the north of the map. Then, head south and go down the stairs to find it. It’ll be level 43 and will be accompanied by three allies that shouldn’t cause you too much trouble.
Stargazer Navalia
To find this Warp Trotter, you can Teleport to the Space Anchor named The Burgeoning and head to the stairs. You’ll see it at the center of a plaza. To win this level 42 fight, you can use Ice, Fire, or Quantum to easily break the shield of the Trotter’s allies.
Divination Commission (upper floor)
The Warp Trotter in the Divination Commission map is hidden on the map’s upper floor. It’s not difficult to reach or find. It’s level 46 and is protected by allies with Weaknesses to Physical and Imaginary elements.
Artisanship Commission
The last Warp Trotter in Honkai: Star Rail is located on the south side of the map. It’s not easy to navigate, but you’ll naturally get there when completing the second part of Dan Heng’s quest and you might already have eliminated the Warp Trotter.
To verify this, open your map, head to the Artisanship Commission tab, and click on the chest button on the top-left corner of the screen. You’ll find the information you need there.

Alchemy Commission
The Warp Trotter will flee fast, so you’ll need a team of at least Level 70 to get it fast enough. A Seele, Silver Wolf or Luocha would be particularly effective to eliminate it before it can escape. In addition to the Warp Trotter, the Alchemy Commission includes 14 treasure Chests to find.
Scalegorge Waterscape
This Warp Trotter can be tricky to find even though its location is exposed because you might make it flee without even noticing when first stepping into the Scalegorge Waterscape map. If the beach is empty, teleport out and return to see the Warp Trotter come back.
Similarly to the Alchemy Commission’s Warp Trotter, this one, of Level 67, won’t be easy to eliminate before escaping if you don’t have the right team composition. Once you’re done, you’ll be able to collect rewards from 14 Treasure Chests to work towards the completion of the map’s exploration.
