Houndmaster Shaw is the first of two legendaries for the Hunter class, and it makes use of the new keyword Rush.

Hunter is a great fit for Rush. Charge has long been a part of the class with Face Hunter, but Rush minions can’t attack face. That means Charge-style is an option without being kinda mindless.

This is better than a Tundra Rhino, too. The stat line is very competitive, meaning even if you get a couple of Rush minions off in your deck it could still be strong.

In the stream hosted by senior designer Peter Whalen and legendary caster Dan “Frodan” Chou, cards were unveiled as the pair played out some games with the new cards.

The stream is the start of card reveal season. Now community sites and content creators will unveil cards over the next few weeks, until the expansion launches in April.

The set is now available to pre-order, with a massive 70 packs available for $49.99—the most packs ever on offer for that price as part of a pre-order and 20 more than usual.

No release date has been confirmed for the expansion, only that it will arrive by mid-April.
