With the Hearthstone World Championship 2015 coming to an end this Fall, we are reviewing the top players from each region. Last in our series is Asia-Pacific.

Hakjun “Kranich” Baek is a South Korean Hearthstone player who plays for Team Dignitas. Being one of the most known Asian players, he was one of the favourites for winning the qualifier, and so it happened. Kranich has also made history, as he is the first Hearthstone player to make it to back-to-back Worlds. That said, he finished in the top 4 in the 2014 Hearthstone World Championship. Apart from that, he has also placed top 16 in both CN vs KR Masters Season 2 and OGN Hearthstone Masters KR Season 1. Finally, he placed top 8 at the International Esports Tournament 2015. Will he be able to climb to the top and win this year’s World Championship? Only time will tell. The runner-up was Kno, walking away with $5,000. 
Kno is a great Korean Hearthstone player, known for his ladder decks. He is currently teamless. We have seen him winning some minor tournaments, with one of them being ZOTAC Hearthstone SEA Cup #2. He is very talented and looks to make it far in the event. Coming in the last 2 qualifying spots were Neilyo and Pinpingho, both stashing $2,500. 
Lan “Neilyo” Tran is a Vietnamese Hearthstone player, currently teamless. He became known after winning GosuCup SEA #4. He also placed top 4 in the GosuCup SEA #2, however, as he has stated prior to that, he prefers playing the ladder instead of tournaments. He has studied economics and maths in the United States, saying that math may have helped him succeed in Hearthstone. Finally, Pinpingho. 
He “Pinpingho” Guoping is a Hearthstone player from Taiwan who is currently playing for Wayi Spider. Pinpingho is mainly known for placing top 8 at the NVIDIA Hearthstone Pro-Am Tournament as well as the ESL Hearthstone Legendary Series – Season 1 Finals. He is considered to be one of the best players in the Asia-Pacific region and is favoured by many to reach the top at the final event.
