New Xbox Series X|S consoles release countdown: Exact launch date and time

In addition to announcing plenty of upcoming titles, Xbox revealed a lineup of new Xbox Series X|S consoles coming to stores in late 2024. These editions come right in time for you to get a new device and enjoy upcoming games.

Three new consoles were announced by Xbox: An All-Digital Xbox Series S, an All-Digital Xbox Series X (its first digital version), and a special Galaxy Black edition of Xbox Series X.

If you’re looking to pick up one (or more) of these all-new Xbox Series X|S consoles, here’s the exact launch time and date, alongside a countdown.

All three new Xbox Series X|S editions launch on Tuesday, Oct. 15, with a few countries later following on Tuesday, Oct. 29. We don’t know which countries have to wait the extra weeks to get their hands on shiny new consoles—we’ll update things when we do.

Below, we set the timer for midnight CT time on Oct. 15 so you can keep track of how many days and hours are left until the consoles become available.

New Xbox Series X|S console release countdown

Prices and pre-orders for the new Xbox Series X|S consoles are available now through the Microsoft store or local retailers. From what Xbox shared, pre-orders in Mexico will be available at a later date, and the new consoles aren’t available in the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India, Israel, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and UAE. Console availability also varies by country.
