TSM has revealed the final three players on its competitive Fortnite: Battle Royale team just a few weeks after entering the space.
Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin, “CaMiLLs,” and “Daequan” will join Ali “Myth” Kabbani on TSM’s Fortnite team, the organization announced yesterday. These players will immediately be familiar to anyone who has watched Myth’s popular livestream over the past few months.
Hamlinz, who previously competed in Call of Duty, Halo, and PUBG, is currently ranked second in Solos and fourth overall on the Fortnite ladder. CaMiLLs is a former competitive Gears of War player, and Daequan has a history in MMOs.
TSM is one of the first organizations to enter Fortnite’s esports scene, which hasn’t really had any true competitions just yet. But in due time, it seems as though Battle Royale will make the move to competitive, just like other games in the genre.
“This is really a dream come true,” Hamlinz said. “People always told me I’d be a professional gamer, but I definitely want to thank my family and viewers who supported me through thick and thin because this wouldn’t have been possible without them. It’s just mind blowing that a top dog org like TSM wanted me. Now I’m just ready to show people what TSM Fortnite is all about and take home some LAN victories.”
The organization also announced the signings of streamers Shane “OPscT” Turnbull, “Dakotaz,” and “HighDistortion,” as TSM continues to expand its presence in gaming and live content.
