This action RPG adventure game takes you to the middle of South Park on a snow day. There’s no school, but the town is in chaos, and you and the gang need to save it. What separates South Park: Snow Day! from past releases is cooperative gameplay.

Let’s finally answer the question: Is South Park: Snow Day! crossplay or cross-platform?

Does South Park: Snow Day! have crossplay or cross-platform play?

No, South Park: Snow Day! does not have crossplay or cross-platform capabilities. The game is available on multiple platformsPlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows (Steam), and Nintendo Switch—but you can only play with others on the same platform as you.

South Park: Snow Day!‘s main feature is the ability to team up and play cooperatively with up to three friends or use matchmaking to make a party of four, but again, you can only play alongside those on the same platform. The ability to play with other platforms will unlikely be added anytime soon.

Does South Park: Snow Day! support cross-platform progression?

No, South Park: Snow Day! does not have cross-progression capabilities at this time. This means if you play on PC and want to switch to console, you’ll need to grind from the beginning once more.

It’s a shame as it would be great to take the game on the go via something like the Switch but then play from the PC as I’d have set up, but unfortunately for me and many others, this feature is not available. Like crossplay, it’s unlikely that cross-progression will be added as the game has now been released in full. Should any changes happen, we’ll be sure to update this article accordingly.
