You can get Fiber by refining Seaweed at any crafting station in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To get Seaweed, fish for it in the open waters of the lakes, rivers, and oceans. By open waters, I mean water without the fishing pools or ripples.

If you happen to fish it up, you can keep any extra or stockpile it in the chests within your house if you run out of inventory. This is because you need quite a bit of Fiber to craft items like torches, fences, and mannequins. Alternatively, you can refine Fiber to craft Rope.

How to get Rope in Dreamlight Valley

It takes one Seaweed to craft five Fibers at a crafting station. You can get Rope by refining eight Fibers at a crafting station.

The best way to get Fiber and Rope fast in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to head to Dazzle Beach or any of the lakes or ponds in Dreamlight Valley or to Ancient’s Landing in the Eternity Isle and fish in the open waters for Seaweed until you run out of Energy.

You can fish for Seaweed from the fishing pools and ripples, but you will get a combination of Fish and Seaweed. So, if you’re strictly farming for Seaweed, it’s best to fish for it in the open waters, then craft all the Seaweed into Fibers until you have none left.

Tip:

You must own the A Rift in Time expansion to access the Eternity Isle and its biome, Ancient’s Landing.

In addition to fishing outside the designated areas, ensure you bring a Fishing character with you, preferably one with a maxed-out level, as they will sometimes double your yield. This makes the fishing process for getting Seaweed a lot less painful.

Even though one Seaweed makes a decent amount of Fiber, you’ll still need eight Fibers to make Rope, so using the tips above to farm for Seaweed will save you time. But this is everything you need to know about how to get Fiber and Rope in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
