Djemal confirmed his involvement with the team in a prepared statement.

I’ll be assisting H2k during their expansion run up until the end of the expansion tournament, I was approached by them shortly after my departure from Gamers 2. Nothing is set in stone for after expansion.

Djemal was formerly the coach of European team Gamers2. On Nov. 12, team captain Carlos “ocelote” Santiago asked Djemal to leave the team.

Djemal is a former professional jungler who played for Complexity in the North American League Championship Series.

The expansion tournament is the last chance for the amateur team to go pro and qualify for the LCS in 2015.

H2K were defeated 0-3 by Copenhagen Wolves in the Spring Promotion tournament in September. The team will play the winner of n!faculty and Gamers2 on Dec. 18 in Cologne, Germany.
