Marble is an Uncommon stone and one of the most important materials in LEGO Fortnite. This valuable piece of rock is used to upgrade Villages, Crafting Benches, and craft items like Medium Chests to store your equipment.
You can’t just scoop Marble up from the ground. You will need to have the right tools to break down this resource before you can take it back to your base to build even greater structures for your village and craft stronger tools to further your explorations. Where to find Marble in LEGO Fortnite
In LEGO Fortnite, you can find Marble in caves throughout the Grasslands. Look for the large white rocks on the walls and ceilings, which stand out with their distinct color, contrasting the dark gray of granite rocks and the muddy brown of cave walls. To harvest this valuable resource, use your Uncommon Pickaxe (the green one) to break apart these marble deposits and collect your hard-earned Marble.
While you’re in the caves, don’t forget to break some curly vines as well. These will yield Knotroot, which often comes in handy for the same crafts you’ll use Marble for.
How to craft an Uncommon Pickaxe
To craft an Uncommon Pickaxe, you must use three Knotroot Rods and three Bones. To unlock this recipe, you must first upgrade your Crafting Bench to the Uncommon tier using eight Planks and three Shells. Once it’s done, you should get access to Uncommon Pickaxe crafting.
Since Marble is a rock that must be mined from the walls and ground, you must use an Uncommon or rarer Pickaxe to gather it. The Common, white Pickaxe will deal zero damage to Marbles, making it impossible to collect them with this tool.
Your Pickaxe will be one of your most used tools in LEGO Fortnite, so it’s worth upgrading to the next level whenever you get a chance. The Uncommon Pickaxe will be enough for your Marble hunt, but some resources will require Rare or even Epic variants.
How to craft Marble Slabs from Marble in LEGO Fortnite
You must use a Stone Breaker to transform one Marble into one Marble Slab. Building a Stone Breaker will cost you 20 Knotroot and 35 Marble, so make sure you break all the rocks you can in your first cave expedition with an Uncommon Pickaxe.
