A well-known Fortnite leaker, SamLeakss, reported on X on Aug. 11 that the game is getting a collaboration with The Simpsons. The crossover is apparently in development, but no further details are known.

SamLeakss says the information comes from the same source that informed him about the Fortnite X Disney Shop collaboration. The latter was confirmed by Disney itself on Aug. 11 during the D23 event, where the studio revealed details about its future plans. These include characters from The Incredibles, Star Wars, Marvel, and more.

We’ll have to wait before we find out more aboutThe Simpsons coming to Fortnite. The show has an intriguing way of showcasing bizarre events that later occur in the real world, so perhaps the cartoon will foreshadow its involvement in the video game? Only time will tell.

Fans are excited about the shared project between Epic Games and Fox, but they’re also making jokes about how Epic Games collaborates with everything. “Fortnite is putting the whole universe into its game and I’m here for it,” one fan wrote on Aug. 11 on X.

Others discussed which The Simpsons characters they’d like to see in Fortnite first. There are tons to choose from, but we expect to begin with, it’ll be the Simpson family. This is merely our bet, though, and we can’t wait to hear more details.
