The Reboot Van will allow players in Duos, Trios, and Squads modes to resurrect allies who have already been eliminated from the match. To do so, one of their teammates will need to pick up a Reboot Card that players who are eliminated drop near the area where they were taken down. Any ally can then use a Reboot Van to make their teammates respawn.

Reboot Vans will be spread around the Fortnite island in the main points of interest. Once activated, they’ll show a huge beacon of light in the sky that will warn players that someone has activated a van. Players who respawn appear directly on top of the van one by one, in case more than one player is brought back to the match.

After a player uses a Reboot Van, it becomes unavailable for a short period of time for recharge. It’s then activated again.

It’s unclear at this time if players who respawn on the van keep anything from their inventory.

The Reboot Van had already been teased in Fortnite official tournaments, despite players being unable to use it to any extent during their matches. Epic has yet to reveal if Reboot Vans will be available in competitive Duos Arena and competitions.
