The patch notes for the brand-new season of Fortnite: Battle Royale has just gone live, and Epic Games is shifting up the meta by nerfing and vaulting a bunch of different weapons and gadgets that have been mainstays in the game for some time.
One of the biggest losses this time around is the Pump Shotgun that’s been in the game for a while. Several players are also upset about the loss of Balloons. A lot of the items and weapons added in season eight, such as Buried Treasure and Poison Dart Traps, have also left the game.
Even with these changes, however, the infamous Baller vehicle still remains in-game (at least for now), which is sure to anger a portion of the competitive community. Many players are sick of seeing Ballers in competitive matches for the Fortnite World Cup qualifiers.
