Last weekend’s fantastic Marshmello concert in Fortnite: Battle Royale was nothing short of spectacular.
The 10-minute long performance offered fans free snippets of some of the American electronic music producer and DJ’s latest songs—and the concert attracted a lot of attention.
According to The Games Awards creator Geoff Keighley and Marshmello, the event reportedly had over 10 million players watching it in-game on Saturday. These numbers haven’t been confirmed by Epic Games at this time, however.
Considering Fortnite has around 200 million registered players, this means that roughly five percent of the player base was in-game for the concert to dance along with the songs and have a good time.
Of course, the concert wasn’t the only event going on this weekend. A few Showtime challenges also went live to give fans the chance to unlock new Marshmello-themed items.
If you weren’t one of the 10 million players who took part in the event, don’t worry—you can still check out the full live performance on YouTube.
