Fortnite Chapter One, season five was the golden era of the game, and now we can return to that glorious time with Fortnite Chapter Four Season OG. We’ve got the full patch notes so you can see everything that’s returned.
It’s no secret that the most recent trend in gaming has been bringing back old, fan-favorite content. Blizzard Entertainment has been doing this for years with World of Warcraft, and now Epic Games is doing it with Fortnite by bringing back Chapter One, season five.
So, here’s everything you need to know about this iconic part of Fortnite history, as Season OG kicks off with a bang.
Classic Fortnite Chapter One map returns
Of course, the main attraction with Fortnite OG is the return of the classic Chapter One map, with all the iconic POIs (Points of Interest) that we know and love.

- Pleasant Park
- Tilted Towers
- Shifty Shafts
- Greasy Grove
- Lazy Links
- Flush Factory
- Lucky Landing
- Fatal Fields

- Retail Row

- Paradise Palms
On top of that, the map will update as the season goes on, with hotfixes adding new POIs and locations to the island.
Unvaulted weapons, items, and vehicles
It wouldn’t be classic Fortnite without classic weapons, and Epic has brought back some of the iconic guns from the first Chapter to help us wipe out our enemies.
The Assault Rifle, Pump Shotgun, and Hunting Rifle are all back, with the classic look we all remember from the good old days.
OG items are also back, with the Grappler and Boogie Bomb returning. There’s also a welcome return for the Damage Trap, which hasn’t been seen in Battle Royal since Chapter Two, season two.
The Shopping Cart and All Terrain Kart are also coming back, giving you new ways to get around the island.
Future Fortnite OG patches
Interestingly, Epic has also revealed what we can expect in hotfixes coming throughout the season, so we know exactly what is arriving on the island, and when.
v27.00 Hotfix: Nov. 9
The Nov. 9 patch will see Loot Lake take to the skies once again, just like it did in season six.
The Double Barrel Shotgun, Clinger, and Six Shooter are the returning weapons, while the Chiller Trap, Port-a-Fortress, and Mounted Turrets will be added to the item pool.
As for vehicles, the Quadcrasher and Driftboard will help you rotate around the island with ease.
v27.10 Hotfix: Nov. 16
Things will get properly chilly on Nov. 16 when the Frosty Flights POI returns to the map, turning the bottom-left corner of the island into a snowy biome.
The Flint-Knock Pistol, Minigun, and Quad Launcher all return, alongside the Poison Dart Trap, Itemized Glider Redeploy, and Buried Treasure.
The iconic X-4 Stormwing plane will be flying in the skies, while you can fire teammates like cannonballs with the Pirate Cannon.
v27.11 Hotfix: Nov. 23
Remember the meteor? Well, it’ll be flying over the island once again, ready to crash and change everything all over again.
There are some heavy additions to the weapon pool, including the Heavy Sniper Rifle, Proximity Grenade Launcher, Air Strike, and Junk Rift. The Jetpack and Storm Flip will help you defy gravity, while The Baller will have you rolling in style—literally.
Fortnite OG battle pass
If you loved your Chapter One skins, then the Fortnite OG battle pass will be right up your street. Filled with 50 cosmetic items, the pass includes reimagined versions of classic skins like Renegade Lynx and Spectra Knight combing old skins into new versions.
