The fan-favorite 50-vs-50 game mode is coming back in version 2.0, possibly in the next few days. A release date for the LTM was not given, but with High Explosives coming to an end today, it should be coming in the next week or so.

As part of the new 50-vs-50, the in-game News section confirmed that there will be two Battle Buses instead of one. Presumably, the two teams of 50 will be on each opposing bus to better land together and spread players throughout the map.

As part of Epic Games’ State of Development v4 back in February, the developer said that 2.0 will also feature the ability to see all of your squadmates on the map, more supply drops, and better loot overall, in an effort to make the game closer to the original trailer experience.

In general, 50-vs-50 aims to be a larger-than-life experience with two huge teams duking it out and building massive forts to fight it out against each other. But that burden lies on the players to see how they want to play.

Regardless, 50-vs-50 seemed to be pretty popular on social media, so players will be excited to know that an improved version is coming soon.
