The Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024 events saw 16 teams of four go head-to-head, but this won’t be your normal event of battle royale action. Instead, EWC used the UEFN Creator to simulate classic modes like Capture the Flag, Hardpoint, and Shrinking Zone that teams needed to navigate to claim victory.

The group stage saw the teams divided into four groups of four that played out a GSL-style double-elimination bracket. The two that emerged from that stage were then seeded into single-elimination playoffs, with a champion crowned on Aug. 11.
