The announcement was made on Twitter today and follows the trend of recent signings made by the organization.

Fortnite’s esports efforts may still be in its early days, but Blind has taken part in his fair share of competitions already, including the Summer Skirmish, Fall Skirmish, and Secret Skirmish. Most notably, he managed to obtain two victories at Ninja Vegas 2018.

Blind’s skills were shown off in a clip that was posted quickly after 100 Thieves’ initial announcement.

100 Thieves is rapidly building a squad of underrated players who could turn out to become stars in the near future. Now sitting at seven players, the organization’s Fortnite roster includes new additions “Kyzui,” Davis “Ceice” McClellan, and Hayden “Elevate” Krueger, as well as long-term players Archie “Parallax” Shrader, “SirDimetrious,” and “Kenith.”

It’s noticeable that these signings have all taken place around the time of Epic Games sharing information about the Fortnite World Cup. Pledging $100 million in prize winnings for 2019, the World Cup itself will dish out $30 million to the 100 solo players and 50 duos who qualify for the event in July.
