You can find multiple accessory items throughout Final Fantasy XIV, adding to your character’s gorgeous aesthetics while wearing their favorite outfits. These accessories don’t always come from the same sources, and you’ll need to look in a specific spot to get the Ribboned Parasol.

The Ribboned Parasol only drops from a specific dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV. You should expect to run it multiple times for a chance to unlock this unique item, but getting to it won’t be easy. Unlike the other dungeons in the game, reaching this destination can be a challenge, and it’s quite time-consuming.

The only way to get the Ribboned Parasol is to find it while exploring the Cenote Ja Ja Gural dungeon, which appears at the end of a Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Map. Unfortunately, the portal for the Cenote Ja Ja Gural dungeon doesn’t always appear. This means you’ll have to repeat multiple Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps if you want a chance to reach the dungeon, but even getting to this dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV does not guarantee you the time.

For anyone searching for Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps, they only appear by performing Disciple of the Land activities, such as Botany, Fishing, or Mining, in Final Fantasy XIV‘s Dawntrail expansion. You’ll need to make sure your character is level 100 when performing these tasks and must be at a set location. These are all the areas where you can get a chance for a Br’aaxskin Treasure Map to drop.

Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps drop occasionally, and after you find one, they go on an 18-hour cooldown. You’ll need to wait for that cooldown to finish for a chance to find another one—it can take a lot of time to gather a large amount doing them back-to-back. When you do, bring a full party of eight Final Fantasy XIV players, as it requires a full group to tackle this challenge.

Now, the Ribboned Parasol can drop at the end of the Cenote Ja Ja Gural dungeon. You must reach the end and defeat the final boss, which means correctly guessing the doors to reach it. If you don’t, expect to be ejected from the dungeon without any rewards, similar to those hunting down the Twilight Gemstones.
