Fallout London is a total conversion mod for Fallout 4 that takes the post-apocalyptic series to the other side of the Atlantic for the first time. It’s ambitious, content-dense, and rivals the base game in file size.

Fallout London takes around 20 to 25 hours to beat if you beeline through the main quests of the mod. It could easily take longer though; as The Ghoul put it in Amazon’s Fallout TV adaptation, “Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.” That’s just part and parcel for any Fallout experience, even in London.

If that is the case, and you have a knack for completionism, then this huge Fallout mod has around 90 to 100 hours worth of content for you.

How many quests are there in Fallout London?

There are 198 quests in Fallout London, and that’s without counting radiant objectives. Here’s a breakdown of them in terms of different categories:

  • 53 main story quests
  • 35 side quests
  • 25 faction quests
  • 64 miscellaneous quests
  • 16 gang quests
  • 5 companion quests

The only thing that’s out of the norm here is the gang quests. These are quests from either the Vagabonds or the Isle of Dogs—two factions comprising the criminal underbelly of the post-nuclear war English capital.

Fallout London’s whopping map size is said to be as big as base Fallout 4 and Far Harbor DLC combined. With the congested London boroughs, it’s also far more content-dense.

Everything combined, expect Fallout London to be its own full game, albeit free-to-play and community-made. Here’s how you can download, install, and play.
