If you love taking advantage of playtests to try games out before they launch, Level Infinite will soon host one for its upcoming title, Exoborne—here’s everything you need to know.
Initially announced in 2023, Exoborne brings an open-world extraction shooter experience set in an apocalyptic United States, influenced by extreme, unpredictable weather conditions. Before you frown at the idea of “yet another extraction shooter” in the sea, the game is being developed by the popular AAA studio Sharkmob Ab under the shadow of Tencent brand Level Infinite. Its latest trailer is great, too, so chances are it’ll be worth the wait.
If you’re interested in participating in an upcoming Exoborne playtest but don’t know where to begin, we’ve jotted down all the details below.
When is the next Exoborne playtest?
Unfortunately, Level Infinite has yet to announce the details for the next playtest. That said, with the dev team participating in the ongoing Gamescon event, which will run till Aug. 25, we can expect some new information soon. We suggest keeping an eye on updates from the event.
In the meantime, if you haven’t signed up for upcoming Exoborne playtests yet, do so immediately to maximize the chances of selection.
How to sign up for Exoborne playtests
All you need to do is go to the official website and sign up using your email ID. If you are eligible to participate in a future test, you’ll receive a notification with all the details in your inbox. In addition, we suggest wishlisting Exoborne on Steam or your platform’s store so you receive notifications for future platform-specific tests.
You can also join Exoborne’s official Discord server for regular updates on the developers’ plans. We will update the story if and when the developers announce further details.
