There's just no telling how far she'll go.

Completing Star Path duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be a daunting task when you don’t know what you’re supposed to be doing. Many quests feature vague hints for you to solve, like figuring out who the stargazing wayfinder is.

There are many unique villagers around the valley, which can make it tough to determine who this clue is about. The task involving this hint is easy to finish once you know who it’s referring to, though, so here’s who the stargazing wayfinder is in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The stargazing wayfinder in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Moana. Moana is a stargazing wayfinder because she uses the sky to orient herself while out at sea. She’s the only villager who counts for this task even though there are arguably a couple of others who could fulfill this description.

Maui is technically the one who teaches her to become a wayfinder in Moana, but he surprisingly doesn’t count for this task. This might be because he’s more known as a demigod with immense power than he is a wayfinder, but it does make this one more confusing if you try him first.

Merlin is another character who you may have tried for this duty before Moana. He’s immensely knowledgeable about everything and has a star-themed house, so it’s easy to mistake him for the character this hint is referring to.

How to give a stargazing wayfinder gifts in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the give a stargazing wayfinder gifts duty on the Dapper Delights Star Path, you need to give Moana four of her favorite items of the day. Every villager only has three desired items per day, so completing this task takes a minimum of two days.

It is possible to time travel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it can be game-breaking, so I recommend just giving her as many gifts as you can on the first day and waiting for time to progress naturally to give her the next one. In the meantime, there’s still plenty to do, like completing A Taste for Literature and unlocking Tiana.
