The first major expansion for Diablo 4, Vessel of Hatred, is almost here—and we’ve got all the details on exactly when you can get your hands on it.
Nearly a year after its release, Diablo 4 fans have finally received the news they’ve been waiting for, with Blizzard confirming the Vessel of Hatred expansion will add a heap of new content and features, including new quests, end-game activities, and the Spiritborn class.
There’s not long until Diablo 4’s next chapter is released, so read on for all the details.
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred release date and time
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred releases on Oct. 8, 2024, Blizzard has confirmed.
A release time for the expansion hasn’t been confirmed yet (this usually happens closer to the release date), but we predict the expansion could release at the same time the game’s seasons do. If that’s the case, we could see Vessel of Hatred release at 12pm CT / 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST (or the following day at 3am AEST). Alternatively, Vessel of Hatred could have a local midnight release time, but this seems less likely to us as previous Diablo 4 content hasn’t been released at that time.
Until Blizzard confirms a release time, we’ve set our countdown below to noon CT on Oct. 8 and will update it accordingly when more information is available.
What platforms will Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred be on?
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
If you were hoping to get access to the expansion as part of your Xbox Game Pass subscription, you’re out of luck. Unfortunately, even if you play Diablo 4 via Game Pass, you must purchase the expansion separately.
