Season of the Malignant picks up following the events of Diablo 4‘s main campaign with the introduction of a new character, Cormond, who is investigating the spread of a new power of evil.

Some players will, however, quickly want to work their way through the missions to fully access the endgame content, while you may also wonder how long you have left in the questline—and we’ve got the answers.

Here’s the full list of Diablo 4’s quests in season one.

How many total quests are in Diablo 4 season one?

There are nine total season one quests in Diablo 4. Of these nine quests, some are simple, merely interacting with a character or item and following the relevant prompts, while others will have you journeying across Sanctuary once again to defeat powerful foes. I found there to be a good variety of mission types throughout the seasonal quest line.

Some quests are more time-consuming than others, including both the Holding Back the Flood and Hope’s Guardian quests that require the completion of several acts within the seasonal journey.

Not only that, but they include doing basic tasks like completing a dungeon and picking up certain crafting materials, a la tutorial-like quests that function as a way to reintroduce players to the game if they took a break.

It takes some time, but sooner or later, I found myself getting used to the cadence of the seasonal gameplay loop, such as playing through Malignant Tunnels, grabbing Malignant Hearts, killing the bosses that spawn, and then farming materials to craft the necessary items for my seasonal build.

With season one in Diablo 4 set to run for three months, however, there is no rush. We all have plenty of time to finish out the seasonal story and everything the Malignant has to offer.
