The helm is a staple among Titans who opt for the Solar subclass, and its benefits are numerous. It’s one of only a few Exotic armor pieces that provide benefits across both PvP and PvE—and it just looks plain awesome.

How do you acquire the Loreley Splendor Helm Exotic in Destiny 2?
There are two different methods through which you can acquire the Loreley Splendor Helm for yourself in Destiny 2. The first way entails players beating The Witch Queen campaign in Legendary difficulty using only the Titan class. After beating the campaign, Ikora will offer you a reward, allowing you to choose between the Loreley Splendor Helm and the Hoarfrost-Z chest armor.
If you want the Loreley Splendor Helm immediately, you can go ahead and choose it straight away; we would advise against that, however. The helmet you would receive from Ikora has incredibly low stats and while offering you the benefit of its main intrinsic ability, it wouldn’t be ideal for an endgame build.
We recommend picking the Hoarfrost-Z armor piece now, which would leave the Loreley Splendor Helm in your Exotic loot pool—crucial for those wanting to use the second method to obtain a much better-statted helmet.
The second method to acquire the Loreley Splendor Helm requires you to complete either a Legendary or Master Lost Sector, which will then reward you with the Exotic item that you didn’t choose as a reward previously, due to the game prioritizing giving you the exotic reward that you don’t already have in your possession.
Look out for the daily Legendary Lost Sector, which can be seen on your destinations tab as per above. Each day, this Lost Sector will cycle—you’re looking for a day when you’ll be offered an Exotic Helmet Armor piece for completion.
We definitely recommend you put a build together to complete Legendary Lost Sectors, especially early into the season. Take note of enemy shields and which champions you’ll be facing.
What does the Loreley Splendor Helm do in Destiny 2?
Why is this helmet such a big deal anyway? Belonging to The Witch Queen campaign, the Loreley Splendor Helm is one of the six various Exotic gear pieces, and one of two gear pieces that was introduced for the Titan class—the other one being, of course, the Hoarfrost-Z chest armor.
The helm is created specifically for Solar Titans that use the Code of the Siegebreaker, boosting them as well as their Sunspots, which can be created with melee, grenade, and Sun Warrior kills.
Once you activate your Barricade, or your shields are broken while your Barricade is ready to use, it is instead consumed, and a Sunspot will be made in its place. This Sunspot has enhanced restoration capabilities, healing you immediately. It’s a key piece of armor that can help you out in a tight spot.
As soon as the active Sun Warrior Titan passes through the Sunspot, melee and grenade abilities begin regenerating quicker along with the duration and damage of the Super increasing, making the Loreley Splendor Helm an extremely resourceful piece of gear for Titans to possess.
