The new FPS is gorgeous, it features several different kinds of modes, and tons of popular streamers are playing it in the summer of 2024. Unfortunately for some players, those streamers are all on PC. So, naturally, console gamers want to know if they’ll be able to play it, too.

Here’s everything we know about Delta Force: Hawk Ops coming to consoles like PS4 or Xbox.

What is Delta Force Hawk Ops?

Delta Force: Hawk Ops is the latest entry in the long-running FPS franchise Delta Force, and it’s being developed by Team Jade and published by TiMi Studio Group out of China.

When it fully releases, the FPS will feature an extraction mode like Escape From Tarkov or Call of Duty‘s DMZ, massive multiplayer battles with tanks and choppers like Battlefield, and even a single-player campaign.

For now, though, the game has no scheduled release date other than “coming soon” and is currently a work in progress.

Is Delta Force Hawk Ops available on console?

Delta Force: Hawk Ops is not available on console yet, but it will be eventually. The game is currently tentatively scheduled for a release on consoles in China in September 2024. It will come to the West when the game is finished and localized, so there’s no release date scheduled yet, on PC or console.

When the game is released, it will be free-to-play, meaning anyone can try it out. This also means there will likely be a lot of microtransactions, like skins and battle passes, similar to many other games and how they operate in 2024.

Will Delta Force Hawk Ops be available on PS4 and Xbox?

So far, TiMi Studio Group says Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be available on PS4 and Xbox One in addition to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will be interesting to see how the game runs on older consoles, but as things currently stand, the publisher plans to release it on them.

DF:HO is also scheduled to release on mobile platforms via the Google Play Store and App Store, so it’ll likely be available eventually on older consoles, but how the game runs and performs is another question entirely.
