Over the years, Dead by Daylight has had crossovers with several big franchises, and fans can now expect Lara Croft to make her way to the horror title.

Everyone who’s ever been into gaming should need no introduction to Lara Croft. The fictional character will be 30 in 2026 after being introduced in 1996’s Tomb Raider. Since then, she’s become a gaming icon.

Dead by Daylight has had some exciting collaborations, including a recent Dungeons & Dragons crossover and a surprise Castlevania appearance. The latest DBD roadmap teased new Survivors are coming in July and August, and Lara Croft is among them.

Is Lara Croft coming to Dead by Daylight?

Yes, Lara Croft is officially coming to Dead by Daylight as a new Survivor. Behaviour Interactive confirmed her addition to the game’s roster in a press release on June 25.

This confirmation comes after weeks of speculation and leaks that hinted at Lara’s arrival. Rumors began circulating in June when DBD leaker Gumpy887 hinted at “miss L.C.” joining the game. These rumors gained traction when a leaked DBD poster featuring Lara was posted on Reddit on June 22.

The speculation reached its peak on June 24 when Eurogamer prematurely published and then deleted an article about Lara Croft’s addition to Dead by Daylight, as reported by Kotaku.

When will Lara Croft, Tomb Raider release in Dead by Daylight?

Lara Croft will join Dead by Daylight on July 16. Players eager to test her survival kit can do so immediately through a limited-time public test build available on Steam ahead of the official launch.

While she won’t have access to her signature bow and pistols, her tenacity, knowledge, and bravery are represented through her survival kit that will help balance the odds in her favor. Until the time of her release, Behaviour Interactive could continue fine-tuning Lara Croft’s abilities and kit to ensure a balanced release.
