Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel received a gift subscription notification in real life when a stream sniper paid him a visit on Saturday.

The Canadian-born streamer and former Overwatch League player was streaming at a bar with two women when a viewer showed up. The stream sniper dropped a stack of folded papers on the table for xQc to read.

The first sheet resembled a Twitch notification of a gifted sub with it reading, “Gift sub @ Flippymafio, thank you @ MDGow.” The “notification” included a Pepe the Frog emote and more text that read, “CHAT WE FORGOT,” a joke within xQc’s community.

The next sheet carried a simple message: “Just room mates btw,” yet another joke for xQc’s viewers. One of the women he was with is supposedly just a roommate, but xQc’s chat has grown to believe there’s more to it.

A third sheet featured an illustration of xqcL, an subscriber emote. Lastly, and perhaps the most artistic of them all, was a sheet covered with the number seven. A common method of trolling xQc is repeatedly typing “7” in hopes of driving him crazy through text-to-speech donations.

The sniper, who referred to himself as Flippymafio, said he lived only a few streets away from the bar and was able to walk over to drop off his generous contribution.

For anyone unaware, “stream sniping” refers to the act of finding a streamer either in person or in a game by figuring out their location based on their surroundings.
