Jacob “Pimp” Winneche may be making a comeback to the world of CS:GO competition.
The Dane is reportedly making his return to competitive CS:GO by signing with a new team, according to a DBLTAP report. It’s currently unclear which team he’s signed with, but apparently Pimp will be joining an active lineup very soon. It would make sense if he joined a Danish or international European roster because he’s bilingual and speaks fluent English.

The last team that Pimp competed with was Team Liquid back in early 2017. His last big international tournament was the ELEAGUE Atlanta Major in January 2017, where he and Liquid placed top-11th after a tough group stage.
Months after the Atlanta Major, Pimp asked to be put on the organization’s transfer list, and he was subsequently replaced by former TSM star Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken. Pimp’s contract with Liquid eventually ended in July 2017 and he joined Team Dignitas as a streamer. He occasionally reaches the top of the CS:GO subreddit in highlight clips because many of his tutorials go wrong in the funniest ways.
Ever since he signed with Dignitas, he’s served the CS:GO community as a freelance analyst for several DreamHack, ESL, and FACEIT events. He’s complemented insightful segments involving Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill, Halvor “vENdetta” Glestol, and former analyst Janko “YNk” Paunovic.
The Danish star is expected to serve as an analyst at the upcoming IEM Chicago event in November. Pimp declined to comment for this story.
