After reaching a top eight finish at the ELEAGUE Boston Major, one of Europe’s stronger Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams appears to be in the process of changing up its roster.
Mousesports, which in the past two months has steadily been improving upon its results, is reportedly looking to recruit Dennis “dennis” Edman, according to Flickshot.
The Swedish player, who is noted for his time with Fnatic and his proficiency with pistols, has spent the past five months as part of the GODSENT organization. But after achieving no noteworthy results with the roster, dennis elected to sit out the remainder of 2017 on the bench.
The player dennis is rumored to replace on mousesports is Martin “STYKO” Styk, who joined the team on Aug. 8 last year. While the Slovakian player showcased some strong play during the ELEAGUE Boston Major, it seems as if the organization is keen on the idea of adding more veteran talent to the roster.
This follows what has already been a tumultuous 2017 for GODSENT. Despite fielding several of Sweden’s most talented players throughout last year, including current Fnatic players Robin “flusha” Rönnquist and Jesper “JW” Wecksell, GODSENT has persistently struggled to impress in an online or offline setting.
When asked by Flickshot for comment on the rumor, GODSENT’s parent company, RFRSH Entertainment confirmed that there “are ongoing discussions with multiple parties.” The company did not specify which teams were part of these discussions.
