A few familiar but new faces have joined the FACEIT London Major talent lineup.
NRG Esports in-game leader Damian “daps” Steele and former Ninjas in Pyjamas coach Bjorn “THREAT” Pers will be on the analyst desk at the London Major throughout September. They will be complimenting the in-depth segments of Sean Gares, Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill, and Jacob “Pimp” Winneche at the $1 million event, which will run throughout the month.
This will be daps and THREAT’s first event as analysts, but THREAT has casted past events like the MLG Columbus Major in 2016.

The duo have agreed to come on to the broadcast team for Valve’s 13th CS:GO Major since they’re not competing in the event. NRG was knocked out of this Major cycle in the Americas Minor by compLexity Gaming and eUnited, two North American teams who upset them in the playoffs of the Minor. THREAT, on the other hand, will be watching his former team NiP from the analyst desk, over a year after he was replaced by Faruk Pita as coach.
Daps and THREAT join an illustrious talent lineup. Caster duos Daniel “ddk” Kapadia/James Bardolph, Anders Blume/Jason “moses” O’Toole, and Henry “HenryG” Greer/Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett will be the voices of the Major. Alex “Machine” Richardson will be the main host of the event.
Pala Gilroy Sen will be his usually funny self as the player interviewer and Freya Spiers will serve both as stage host and interviewer at the Twickenham Stadium and SSE Arena Wembley. Spiers was featured on past FACEIT broadcasts at the Minors and ECS Season Five Finals.
The FACEIT London Major tournament series starts on Sept. 5 with the New Challenger stage.
