Cloud9’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad is undergoing more roster changes once again.
The North American organization announced today that Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey has been released from his contract. This is the third departure that Cloud9 has had in March, with Robin “flusha” Ronnquist and Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro being the other two several weeks ago.
Now that kioShiMa has left the team, Cloud9’s roster only consists of Tim “autimatic” Ta, Will “RUSH” Wierzba, Maikil “golden” Selim, and Daniel “vice” Kim, who’s on trial at this time. Their spot at the StarLadder Berlin Major is now in jeopardy since autimatic and RUSH are technically the only remaining players from the previous Major at IEM Katowice. KioShiMa, flusha, and Zellsis could actually take Cloud9’s Challenger slot if they really wanted to.

If C9 desperately need a substitute for any upcoming events, like BLAST Pro Series Miami next month, they may opt to bring in veteran AWPer Tyler “skadoodle” Latham as a last-minute stand-in. But it’s unlikely that this may happen because skadoodle seems to be much happier in retirement as a full-time streamer.
