In a blog detailing the game and its upcoming release, Sony shared what the developers have in store down the line. As soon as October, Concord‘s Season One begins, which is supposed to include a new Freegunner, map, variants, quality-of-life additions, cosmetics, rewards, and vignettes. The first season will also herald the launch of a whole store where players can purchase additional customization for their characters and weapons.

Season Two, which is slated to begin in January 2025, will contain more of the same, while the rest of the year should feature regular seasons and content drops. Specifics of what is to come as part of these seasons are still not available, and we’ll have to wait a while longer, allowing the game to actually launch and perform, to know their contents precisely. What is certain is that Sony appears committed to maintaining Concord at least during its first post-launch year, with longer updates likely depending on how well the game is received.

Concord is aiming for an Aug. 20 launch for players who own the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, while the rest of the audience will have to wait three days longer and get to starting on game as of Aug. 23.
