Where to use the Ahmed Grocery Store key in DMZ

Up for a shopping trip?

If you’re playing DMZ, you’ll more than likely stumble across stash keys, which can be use to open up secret boxes or rooms packed full of weapons, equipment, and cash to spend at Buy Stations all across Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and Vondel.

The main issue players run into in regard to the keys is where to find the location of the lock that the key opens. DMZ offers players little in the way of where to go once they loot a key outside of half a coordinate hint and the key’s name itself.

One such location is the Ahmed Grocery Store, whose back room contains all sorts of goodies. But even if you’ve got a key, if you don’t know where to go, what good is the key anyway?

The Ahmed Grocery Store key can be used at the Ahmed Grocery Store on Al Mazrah, found at H5. In a cluster of buildings to the far east of the map, you’ll find, just north of the Buy Station, a grocery store chock full of items.

In the back to the southwest corner of the store on the bottom floor, there will be a white door to exit, and a grey door with paint indicating the location of a stash. Of course, to open this door, you’ll need the Ahmed Grocery Store Key which drops from anywhere in the world or from particular faction missions.

You can also use a Skeleton Key to open this door, but you’re best off saving it for something more important. All I found was another key and a couple of loot boxes with a random weapon.

The area around the grocery store is fantastic for finding items to Barter, however. Be sure to loot the entire street’s worth of buildings as you’ll very easily come across the items you need to make stuff like three-plate vests.
