Some of the missions require you to find a dead drop dumpster at certain locations. These dead drops can be found everywhere, and it’s important to know exactly where the majority are. Some are vital for the mission, while others might help in a tight spot to ensure you save as much money made during deployment as possible.

The Ashika Island Science Center is key in season five and the Reloaded update as a number of factions use it to transport their goods. You’ll be tasked to visit it and collect items, as well as deposit valuable mission objectives to progress your faction missions.

Exact location of the Science Center dead drop in DMZ

You can find the Science Center dead drop on Ashika Island, resting halfway between the Science Center and the Town Center at E5 on your Tactical Map.

The dead drop is in a small building just east of the gas station and north of the Science Center, which is often locked as a Stronghold. Around the side of the small building will be a green fence right next to a cliffside and a shop. Resting against the green fence will be the familiar white dumpster—that’s the dead drop.

Tips for finding the Science Center dead drop in DMZ

While there are numerous spawn points towards the Town Center and Science Center, there is a chance you may spawn on the opposite side of the island. If so, I definitely do not recommend walking straight across the middle of the map to reach this dead drop.

In every circumstance, I encountered enemy players who were very keen to down me and steal my faction mission goods. Instead, I grabbed a vehicle and took a long way around, traversing the very edge of the map.

Try to avoid the Town Center too, which is a common high-traffic zone for bots and players alike. Get in, deposit your DMZ goods, and then get out quickly.
